Phil Rendell, MBA, B.Rec
Hello, my name is Phil Rendell, and I founded this consulting business to share my extensive knowledge and experience within the not-for-profit and social enterprise ecosystem.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with various not-for-profit and social enterprises, including roles such as the Manager of Knowledge Scaling at Sport for Life, enhancing the public image and coordinating major fundraising events for Special Olympics NL, and delivering inclusive and accessible programs for Easter Seals NL. Additionally, I am deeply committed to volunteerism and community engagement; I’ve volunteered with Easter Seals NL for the past 6 years and currently serve on the transportation committee for the upcoming Canada Summer Games in Newfoundland & Labrador. As if that wasn’t enough to keep me busy, I recently accepted a role with Special Olympics Canada as the Alternate Communications Liaison for Team Canada at the upcoming 2025 World Games!
With over 7 years of experience in the social sector and an MBA specializing in Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, I am passionate about driving positive change by addressing societal challenges and improving social and environmental issues. My expertise in fundraising and digital marketing, coupled with my ability to build strong partnerships and stakeholder relationships, enables me to craft impactful strategies for your unique social mission! Furthermore, experience in the adaptive recreation sector has provided me with valuable insights and tools to create equitable, inclusive, and accessible opportunities within your mission.
My MBA from Memorial University has also equipped me with the comprehensive business skills necessary to navigate the corporate ecosystem and enhance corporate social and environmental impacts. I am dedicated to reimagining and challenging traditional business practices by applying a sustainability-focused approach across all three pillars: people, planet, and profits. Now, I want to help you do the same!
